Our Home is Yours Campaign

We are happy to report a successful completion of the “Our Home is Yours” special campaign, which was designed to support our charitable care mission in the new building. Thanks to the many donors who stepped forward with gifts and pledges, we are able to continue our mission of providing charitable care to those individuals with the greatest financial need. However, the need for additional funding never ends. For example, over the next year, we will spend over $360,000 in charitable care that will not be reimbursed by the Medicaid system. We strive to cover these costs through donations from foundations, corporations, churches and individuals in our community.

Without charitable funding, we could not provide help for persons who have no ability to pay for the care they so desperately need. Further, there is no other assisted living or Alzheimer’s care facility in Kootenai County that offers this charitable care opportunity to those with the least financial capability.
